About Us

We are Ross Jenkins and Alec Pole. Having worked together for years on each other's projects we've taken the leap to join forces and create something bigger.

We now run projects together and employ a team of subcontractors to satisfy the demands the jobs that we're tasked with.

We have a passion for using local, natural materials and minimising chemical products where we can to make healthier buildings (and work sites) for everybody.

Alec is a seasoned project manager and served in two of Edinburgh's creative maker companies. After time at the desk, Alec also found his passion in creating things with his hands.

Alec now spends most of his time on site, ensuring smooth operations and high quality work, lending his hands to the most pressing task and motivating our team of sub contractors to perform to their best.

Ross is an architectural designer who having done time in front of a computer screen, decided to pick up a hammer and found more joy in moulding physical materials than rearranging pixels.

Now, as well as a large amount of our joinery, Ross is responsible for the majority of the design work that we do, including the technical drawings for planning permissions and building warrants.
